It’s good times in Boston.
The Sox advanced to the World Series last night with a convincing win over the Indians, thanks in large part to IAYM faves Dustin Pedroia (l) and Jonathan Papelbon (r). Fab. It was pretty tense there for a while, our collective hearts were racing. Bob Ryan called it “just about the most tension-filled rout [he’d] ever seen.”

Also, the Pats annihilated the Dolphins, as they should have, thanks to SIX TD’s by the dapper Tom Brady (trying to find a picture of his pretty outfit in the post-game press conference — more to come).

And, finally, Boston also has the #2 college football team in the nation — in the polls and the BCS — AND a legit contender for the Heisman!
