For all things that truly matter . . . to the five of us.

Do you think he wore his jester outfit? November 1, 2007

Another morsel from Page Six.  But is “So Relaxing” the best the Post could do?  How about “I’ll Pay You $20 to Stand So Close to Me” or “Every Lap Dance You Take” or  “(Not) So Lonely (Since I Am Paying For Your Company).”  Or, you know, “Roxanne (Actually, Go Ahead and Put on The Red Light).”  I could do this all day . . .

November 1, 2007 — STING unwound after his reunion gig with the Police at the Garden in the wee hours of yesterday morning with entertainment by the ecdysiasts at Scores East. The singer and two male buddies arrived at the mammary mecca after midnight and were quickly sequestered in the Champagne Lounge with six private dancers dressed festively in sexy little Halloween costumes. The group then moved to a private room to keep the party going

Gross . . . and strangely kinda awesome

November 1, 2007 — TO prove to fellow restroom users he’s not up to any funny business, Owen Wilson has taken to relieving himself with the stall door open. Despite having been spotted enjoying an occasional cocktail, Kate Hudson‘s ex is trying to prove he is not partaking of any other substances. At Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art on Sunday, the recently hospitalized “Darjeeling Limited” star attended a ball in honor of artist Takashi Murikami. “He was with a girl with blond highlights,” said our spy, “and he went to the bathroom and peed with the door open.” Wilson, who is currently in New York, has been spotted frequenting various hot spots, including the Beatrice Inn, where one reveler spotted him at 2:30 yesterday morning “surrounded by two or three younger girls.” Asked about the open stall door, Wilson’s rep responded, “Can you blame him? He’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. If he tries to protect himself from innuendo and lies, it gets used against him.”

More on Romowood? Or is it Underomo? October 18, 2007

According to both parties, Underwood and Romo were never dating.  I guess Tom is not the only NFL quaterback who needs to focus all his attention on the game and not his game.  So, now more information on these two than I ever really wanted to know.

Carrie Underwood and Tony Romo: Passing Fancy?

The ”American Idol” winner tells EW what put the brakes on her budding romance with the quarterback of America’s Team

By Dave Karger

The private Carrie Underwood, suddenly spilling all about her love life with NFL quarterback Tony Romo? Not so fast: Though Underwood seemed to be enjoying a blossoming relationship with the Dallas Cowboy earlier this year — he was her date to the ACM Awards and each flew to the other’s side for their respective birthdays — she swears they were never a couple. ”At one point it seemed like that’s where it was headed,” she says, ”but point blank, he is about football. I don’t know if it’s that I’m not quite his type or whatever, but I don’t think he’s at the point in his life where he would be willing to sacrifice football. He hated so much that people thought that he was paying more attention to me and that was causing him to not do well.” (Could she be talking about the fumble last January that helped cost his team a playoff win?) For his part, Romo tells Sports Illustrated, ”I’ve been lucky to get to know her. We’re friends.” Either way, Underwood continues to be a Dallas cheerleader: ”The Cowboys are still my favorite team — no matter what happens with us.”

Has the Love Died??

Tom and GiseleAccording to one of Gawker’s readers, Tom and Gisele were spotted fighting over dinner the other night! Could the end be near?

Gawker’s analysis of the situation is pretty thorough — this part is my favorite:

But as the public fights with Tom continued, Gisele knew that she was at a crossroads with only two options—either get plastic surgery or get pregnant. Indeed, every self-respecting woman knows that the best way to keep a man who is slipping away is to juice up the implants, fake a miscarriage, or up the ante and really get pregnant. But while plastic surgery is forever, pregnancy is fleeting and children can be ignored. If Gisele wants to keep her man, it’s time to go fishing—fishing in the trash for used condoms, that is. It didn’t work for Bridget, but the second time’s the charm.

Sad. But, he really doesn’t need any distractions right now — he should be concentrating solely on football and win #7 in Miami right now!!!

Apparently We Were Wrong. October 17, 2007

So, as the IAYM crew was sitting around the TV watching the Patriots kick the Cowboys butts on Sunday, we were gossiping about Tony Romo dating Carrie Underwood.  Well, apparently we were stuck back in Summer 2007, because People.com is reporting today that Ms. American Idol is now with Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford.  They even have a split screen photo to prove it:

Carrie & Chace

And, she says:

“He’s really cute,” Underwood recently told PEOPLE of the 22-year-old Texas-born actor. “I’ve met him and he seems like a really nice guy. He’s got cool hair, he’s a nice height and he just has beautiful blue eyes.”

But, does he really have to spell his name that way??

i think these two should get married October 5, 2007

Filed under: Gossip — your mom @ 9:26 am

ever since the movie one fine day, i’ve always thought they’d make a great real life couple but i guess i’ll have to settle for them just being friends.

it must be nice to be rich and make $100,000 bets!

Clooney marriage bet with Michelle Pfeiffer now at 100,000 dollars

Hollywood actress Michelle Pfeiffer’s bet with George Clooney that he will never marry again currently stands at 100,000 dollars (49,000 pounds, 71,000 euros), she said in an interview to be shown Friday.

“I bet him he would get married and he keeps inflating the bet from 100 dollars to 100,000 dollars,” Pfeiffer told the Tonight with Jonathan Ross programme on BBC television.

“I still think he will, he’s a handsome devil.”

Clooney, 46, is one of Hollywood’s leading men and most eligible bachelors who is currently on screen in Britain in the film “Michael Clayton”.

He has said that Pfeiffer, who starred opposite him in the 1996 film “One Fine Day”, and Nicole Kidman each made a 10,000-dollar bet that he would be married and have children by the year 2000.

Clooney married Talia Balsam in 1989. The couple divorced three years later.
