It’s like DVD commentary, but, like, legal December 13, 2007

David Chase is being sued by a New Jersey municipal judge who claims that he gave Chase the idea for the Sopranos.  Yeah, that’s a really loser.  It has already been dismissed twice, but somehow has gotten to a point where Chase had to file an affidavit explaining where he came up with the ideas for the Sopranos.  Considering that its a court document and that is in numbered paragraphs, it actually makes for pretty interesting reading.

Interestingly, I have a case that is a lot like this one.  Guy helps people for a few hours and those people make a gazillion dollars and guy wants some after the fact.  But it’s about financial markets and not TV, so, yeah, a lot less fun.
